Girl, Interrupted is a psychological thriller movie about the experiences of a young girl who spends 18 months institutionalized at a psychiatric hospital following a suicide attempt. I wanted to create a movie poster that captures the sombre and tragic lives of the girls through metaphorical imagery. Inspired by the character Daisy, I  drew and painted daisies to represent girlhood. The withering flower represents the girls in the story, who's lives were cut short, interrupted, by tragedy and mental illness.
