Overview
I utilized play-on-words to create a fun spin-off of the famous Dairy Queen chain establishment. The illustration of a cheeky cow with a crown is a more literal representation of "Dairy Queen;" while, the color palette and composition of the poster is an additional nod to another famous dairy brand, Cadbury Chocolate. The brown coat of the cow represents the chocolate, and the purple background and milk spills are elements commonly seen on Cadbury's chocolate bar packaging. Ingredients found in Cadbury Milk Chocolate is then pasted in the background for an additional visual effect. Taking the original Dairy Queen brand, I was able to rebrand the original Dairy Queen franchise into a reference to the Cadbury brand while creating a literal metaphor with its name as well.
