Overview
Kenshi Yonezu also known as his Vocaloid stage name Hachi, is an alternative Japanese rock artist. Official Orange is one of my favorite album of his and I really want to create ads for it. By incorporating art from the original album CD, I want to give a fresh and different take to the original design while also maintaining its integrity. Since it's called Official Orange, I tried to pull from elements of the orange: orange slice, juice, and leaf. I printed out different images of Kenshi, cut them in to shapes, and scanned them, since I really like the collage look. I then pieced the elements together in Photoshop, then arranged them accordingly. The main orange is on the side and the appearance of the orange juice dripping from the leaf is intentional.
